What is Shopify Estimated Delivery Date?
Just like other online shopping platforms, customers want to know when their ordered items will arrive. This information is called Estimated Delivery Date (EDD). EDD helps buyers feel less worried. While Shopify already has this feature, it may not be sufficient for merchants.
How to calculate date?
The delivery date is figured out in three steps. First, when you make an order, the warehouse begins processing it, which is called Processing Time. After that, the order is shipped, and it takes some days, known as Shipping Time. That’s when customers receive their goods. The time it takes can be influenced by the delivery area, holidays, and even the type of products ordered.
